Privacy Policy

Candle Crew is an educational game that teaches kids ages 10 and up how futures markets work, using play money only. We built it to collect as little information as possible.

What we don't collect

• We don't ask kids for their real name, email, phone number, address, photos or location.
• We don't show ads and don't use advertising or tracking tools.
• We don't sell or share personal information.

What stays on your device

Game progress (missions cleared, XP, badges, practice trades and the optional gamer tag) is saved in your browser's local storage on that device only. It never reaches our servers. You can erase it anytime in the app's Parent zone, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Purchases

A grown-up can buy the full season. Payments are handled by Stripe, which collects the payment details and the email address entered at checkout. We never see or store card numbers. We use the checkout email only to confirm purchases and restore them on a new device. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Website hosting

Our website and app are hosted by Netlify, which, like any web host, may log basic technical information such as IP addresses to keep the service running and secure.

Children's privacy

Candle Crew is designed so children can play without giving us personal information. Purchases and the Parent zone sit behind a grown-up question. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we change how the app handles information, we'll update this page and the date above.
